Norma Blaque
Norma Blaque is a self-taught hair and make-up prodigy that bloomed despite trials and hardships faced from a broken family background. Her success has followed her for the past 20 years and her vision and talent has allowed her to run her own private beauty company providing hair, make-up and photography services for the last 11 years.
She keeps herself constantly busy at the salon and with fashion shows and photo shoots. Some of the activities she has been involved in include the developement of a new product line for Sebastian, was showcased on a Telemundo tv show called "Manita De Gato", Elmer Ave's Fashion Walk Off, as well as Jared Gold's Czarina and Brett Baily's House of Dolls for LA Fashion Week, Lingerie Bowl 06, and Hooter’s fashion shows and calendar. Norma is currently being represented by The Cyrstal Wright Agency, a 10 year acheivment goal. Since hooking up with the Agency, Norma has worked on a Neiman Marcus fashion show featuring Stella McCartney's designs and the Marina Rinaldi runway extravaganza. She also worked on the cover of Girls Gone Wild Magazine and another 944 Magazines editorial.
Norma believes that the key elements of life include education, encouragement, and dedication. She is constantly involving herself in charitable organizations including The Surfrider Foundation, Abused and Battered Women’s Association, Independent Living Center, and Shelter First Association. Norma also makes time to educate and inspire students at West Valley Occupational Center's Cosmetology dept., which is the school that she attended. She is definately a great inspiration to anyone trying to succeed.
